We have to admit we’re not totally enamoured with the cover image of Reece Mastin’s new single ‘Shut Up And Kiss Me’ (though we’re sure his minions will be swooning and won’t mind it one little bit)…
The track is the first new music since Reece’s smash X Factor winners’ single ‘Good Night’ stormed the charts, achieving four times platinum status in the process.
The new track is written by former Idol alumni Hayley Warner (who also penned ‘Good Night’) and the boys from DNA, so expect a punchy pop number with a slight rock edge.
The track is set for digital release on Friday April 20.

who cares about the shirt, Reece could wear a paper bag and he would still look cool.

Hey Anonymous #2,
Not sure when it’s scheduled to hit radio yet, but given the release date is April 20, we’d probably say Monday week? They wouldn’t want to drag the digital release out much longer than a week and Sony’s usually pretty good in turning things around quickly between radio service and retail.
