It’s set against a ’40s film noir style backdrop of shady characters making deals in large, empty, dusty warehouses, but at its heart is a love song filled with heartbreak and pain as Sam tries desperately to shake the memory (and clearly the enduring love) of a love gone wrong.
Still, there’s plenty of opportunity for Sam to showcase his dance moves, his almost Errol Flynn-esque styling and in parts his acting ability as he tried single-handedly to shake down ‘The Shark’, who’s operating an illegal brewing racket.
A remixes package for the single was service to media just yesterday, containing reworkings by Devil’s Gun, Stereogamous, Azari & III and ‘She Can DJ’ competition runner-up Alison Wonderland. Both the remixes package and the album are due on Friday June 01.
