Our friends over the ditch have been enjoying the debut single for Sydney trio Young Men Society for a couple of weeks now. Sony released it in New Zealand a little earlier due to the band’s support role on Reece Mastin’s recent tour of the country. Now ‘We Own The Night’ is finally getting its Australian release, with Sony servicing it to local radio this morning.
Andi, Nate and Josh are no stranger to our screens after they made it through to the top ten of last year’s ‘X Factor’ competition. All of the judges were glowing in their praise of the trio.
The video for the single (below) dropped last week. Set in various parts of Sydney, the clip allows the band to show off their trademark dance moves and street-wise smarts, before they turn on some lights on a famous landmark and end up in the pool. YMS soup, anyone?
‘We Own The Night’ is due to hit digital retail on Friday.
