It’s certainly not one of the best kept touring secrets around, with Chugg Entertainment finally confirming that the superstar ‘purple one’ Prince will tour Australia – and soon.
It’s been nine long years since the performer last toured Australia and his visit – locked in for next month – is only the third time that he’s toured Australia.
There is some bad news, however… Fans outside of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane are set to be disappointed, with Chugg confirming dates only in the three east coast cities.
But the good news is that it’s a greatest hits tour, so audiences will be treated to singles like ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Raspberry Beret’, ‘Cream’, ‘Little Red Corvette’, ‘When Doves Cry’, ‘Diamonds And Pearls’ and the stunning ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’.
With tickets for shows in both New York and London selling out in record time and no presale for his Aussie dates, tickets for the three dates are expected to go super-fast when they hit the sales desk running at 9am this Monday, April 16.
