The timing is spot on for the announcement of the return to Aussie shores of US outfit Train – their latest album ‘California 37’ drops into stores officially tomorrow.
The boys have experienced a run of chart successes here in Australia, beginning with their smash single ‘Drops Of Jupiter (Tell Me)’, their 2009 No.1 hit ‘Hey, Soul Sister’ and their most recent top 20 entry ‘Drive By’.
The tour, announced by Live Nation this morning, will take in dates only in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, kicking off at the Opera House on Thursday June 07.
Providing the support role for the tour will be Sac Francisco-based singer songwriter Matt Nathanson.
Tickets for all dates are on sale on Monday April 23.
June 07 : Sydney (Opera House)
June 09 : Melbourne (Palais Theatre)
June 11 : Brisbane (The Tivoli)

Train AND Matt Nathanson with no Adelaide? Really?
I’m tired of artists/bands shunning Adelaide…
