Pop superstar George Michael hadn’t toured Australia for 22 years when he last visited early last year, but moments ago Dainty has confirmed that the singer, famous for solo hits including ‘Freedom’, ‘Amazing’ and ‘Faith’, will make a welcome return to Australia in 2012 as part of his ‘Symphonica’ tour.
George will play arena dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide, but will also perform a show in the New South Wales Hunter Valley.
A full orchestra will accompany George on all dates and he’ll perform a selection of his own tracks from across the past 30 years along with some hand-picked cover versions.
