For some reason, it seems a lot longer that five years ago that Melbourne songstress Natalie Gauci walked into the pop sunset after winning the 2007 Australian Idol competition.
Naturally the pressure was on Nat to pop out an album, but she wasn’t in any hurry, wishing to craft something she’s be proud of.
Three years on, she released a dance track with Melbourne producer Paul Brandoli called ‘Dreamer’ that hit the ARIA club chart’s top five and now they’re back with a stonking new single that they’re no doubt hoping will repeat history. And there’s no reason whatsoever that it shouldn’t.
We have to admit, if we weren’t aware of the background of this track, we’d swear it was from the depths of the European club scene. It’s impossibly slick, sparklingly polished and super exciting and with Nat glowing in the leading lady role, Paul’s production bang on trend and the Denzal Park boys whipping the track into a frenzy, it’s bound to set dancefloors alight not just here in Australia, but across the globe.
World class dance made right here in Australia.
