It was only on Thursday last week when Frontier Touring Company announced an Australian tour by British singer songwriter Patrick Wolf.
The singer, whose latest album ‘Lupercalia’ was released via Inertia here last year, is celebrating ten years in the industry and is heading to Australia in September this year to play dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
The performances will reportedly be stripped right back, with Patrick (playing grand piano and Celtic harp among others) to be joined on stage by just one other musician. He’ll be performing a different setlist, featuring music from across his five albums, at each of the shows.
Tickets for all five dates went on sale this morning at 9am, but his show at the Sydney Opera House Studio has already officially sold out, with Frontier now adding a second date at the venue – set down for Sunday September 09.
Tickets for it and all other remaining dates are on sale now.
