ANNIE LENNOX : Walking On Broken Glass
I’m a bit young to remember this song when it was first released but I heard it randomly on TV one afternoon and have been obsessed with it ever since. The song is so infectious and addictive even with those pretty heartbreaking lyrics. Her hilariously deranged performance in the video (with Hugh Laurie as Blackadder’s Prince George!) is just a bonus. It’s my favourite solo Annie Lennox moment and I think it’s one of the best pop songs of the 90s.
