Melanie C’s career has been nothing if not diverse. From humble beginnings as the butt-kicking sporty spice, to rock chick to dancefloor diva, it seems there’s nothing in the musical spectrum that she’s not been keen to have a crack at.
Enter her new single ‘I Don’t Know How To Love Him’ and the forthcoming album from which it’s lifted, ‘Stages’.
The track, released yesterday through our local iTunes store, is from the soundtrack to the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ and introduces us to an album of “songs from the theatre” that have made an impression on Melanie throughout the years.
Spice fans will also delight at a duet with Emma Bunton on a cover of the ‘Chess’ track ‘I Know Him So Well’, along with 11 other tracks.
‘Stages’ is due for digital release globally on Sunday September 09.
