TRUEBLISS : Tonight
They started it all… Yup, back in 1999, a little show called ‘Popstars’ in New Zealand set about trying to find a Kiwi Spice Girls. And they succeeded – TrueBliss were huge in New Zealand, and then the TV show went global giving us such pop gems as Bardot, Scandal’us, Hear’Say, No Angels, and Girls Aloud.
‘Tonight’ debuted at #1 in the charts as did their album ‘Dream’, their nationwide tour sold out, there was a book, and even collector cards. However, over-exposure didn’t help them and follow-up single ‘Number One’ only made it to #12, with the third and fourth singles ‘Freedom’ and ‘Don’t Turn Your Back’ not making the Top 40. They went their separate ways with success across TV, radio, and music, and now four of them have reunited with a new song called ‘A Minute Of One Day’ for the Child Cancer Foundation.
