This year’s ‘The X Factor’ top 12 finalists came together on tonight’s episode to perform a rendition of Carly Rae Jepsen’s international smash earworm ‘Call Me Maybe’.
Their version of the song has now been rush-released to the local iTunes store as a fundraiser for the Sony Foundation’s ‘You Can’ program, which aims to build age appropriate youth cancer centres across the country.
Of the rendition, ‘The X Factor’ judge (and Sony Foundation ambassador) Natalie Bassingthwaighte said, “The contestants had so much fun performing ‘Call Me Maybe’ and they were delighted to be helping out young Australians with cancer. This is an important cause very close to my heart and I am so proud of them for lending their support.”
The track is now available for official download HERE.
