A couple of months back, we brought you news of this rather fetching remake of Tasmin Archer’s ’90s classic ‘Sleeping Satellite’ by Melbourne artist Stereolove (aka James Fraser).
Vocalled by amazing local singer songwriter Betty Vale, the rework remained true to the original, while giving club goers a swag of super remixes to get their disco chops around, including an extended version of the radio edit by Linn Lovers.
Sterelove’s new single ‘Too Young For Promises’ has JUST hit digital retail (radio edits EP HERE and full length remixes EP HERE).
To celebrate the release of ‘Too Young For Promises’ (a cover of the Koo De Tah hit – and featuring original vocalist Tina Cross), the lovely Stereolove has kindly gifted us ten (yes, that would be TEN) copies of a strictly limited edition CD single pressing of ‘Sleeping Satellite’ to give away to you. It’s packed with nine (count them – NINE) versions of the track including the Linn Lovers various radio versions and an extended mix, a dub, Paul Goodyear’s extended mix and more.
And here’s how you could win one…;
Shoot us an email containing your name and postal address with the subject line showing “I’d Love Some Stereolove” and we’ll plonk you straight into the draw to win one. And with TEN copies to go, your chances are pretty damned good.
Competition closes at 10:00pm AEST on Friday September 21, 2012. Only one entry per residence and email address will be accepted. Winners drawn entirely at random using our technologically advanced raffle tickets in a stay-fresh tub system. Winners’ first names, suburbs/towns and states will be published on the site on Saturday September 22, 2012. Ten lucky peeps will be sleeping much more soundly knowing that they’ve got themselves a copy of the Stereolove ‘Sleeping Satellite’ strictly limited CD single, with thanks to Stereolove himself.
And as always, your details are kept safely and never shared with anyone unless previously advised.
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED.
