It was earlier this week that US songstress Ke$ha revealed the cover image and title of her new single ‘Die Young’.
But the songstress, famous for her global smash ‘Tik Tok’ has today revealed more… There’s a brand new album in the offing too!
Yes, ‘Warrior’ is the follow up to the ‘Animal’/’Cannibal’ project which not only spurned ‘Tik Tok’, but other local favourites including ‘We R Who We R’, ‘Your Love Is My Drug’ and ‘Blah Blah Blah’.
‘Die Young’ will serve as the precursor to the new album, premiering at both radio and retail next Thursday, with a pre-order for the album due to iTunes from Wednesday next week.
The new LP is set to feature collaborations from the likes of Max Martin, Will.i.am, Benny Blanco, Ben Folkds, Greg Kurstin and even Iggy Pop.
Both a 12 track standard and a 16 track deluxe edition will be released, with an exclusive version of the album sold through Ke$ha’s website that will also feature a five track acoustic EP.
“I am so excited to finally share ‘Warrior’ with all of my amazing ANIMALS,” Ke$ha said in a statement. “I’ve been working for a year on this new record and have collaborated with some of my idols. This process has been long and intense and I couldn’t be more stoked to share this music. I hope with ‘Warrior’ my fans get to know me in a much more raw and vulnerable way.”
‘Warrior’ will be released in Australia in standard and deluxe editions on Friday November 30.
