There’s been no official announcement from his team at Universal Music at this stage, but a little entry in this week’s Universal release schedule has piqued our interest and will have Shannon’s Aussie fans curious as to what’s in his (very near) future.
Shannon’s recent chart history has been a little patchy, with ‘Switch Me On’, the first single from his album ‘A Million Suns’, reaching the top 20 and being certified gold and the album peaking within the top ten. The subsequent singles have failed to chart.
But back to that little piece of news that’s got us curious. It’s a song that’s not contained on ‘A Million Suns’. It’s a song we’ve not heard of before. It’s a song called ‘Man I Can Trust’.
And it’s on Universal’s release schedule for an October 01 digital release. Yep, that would be next Monday.

Hehe, yeah.
A Million Suns was a great album.
Hopefully the next one is just as good.

He will need to mention a club, or having a “drank”, or feature a US rapper to have a top 10 hit again… unless he becomes a judge on The Voice. Can’t wait to hear it though, A Million Suns was totally under-appreciated.
