Some of Australia’s biggest music stars will come together in Sydney in November this year for a very special one-night-only salute to some of the greatest musicals of our time.
The State Theatre audience will be treated to numbers from the likes of Jersey Boys, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Grease, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, Buddy Holly and many more – and all to raise much needed funds and awareness for the ‘Big Brothers, Big Sisters’ program of the New South Wales YWCA, which aims to provide mentoring and leadership programs for disadvantaged children.
On the line up are pop favourites Carmen Smith, Casey Donovan, Darren Percival and Christine Anu, as well as Dave Faulkner, Glenn Shorrock, Melinda Schneider, Angry Anderson and even Australia’s godfather of soul, Mister Doug Parkinson.
Richard Wilkins will MC the night, tickets for which are on sale on Monday September 24.
