The team at Live Nation has been excitedly spruiking their big Sunday announcement all week – and this morning they confirmed that Bee Gee Barry Gibb will tour Australia’s East Coast in February next year.
He’ll launch his ‘Mythology’ tour in Australia with dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to pay tribute to his brothers Maurice and Robin and to play audiences a selection of the Bee Gees’ biggest hits.
The tour kicks off with a show at Sydney’s Entertainment Centre on February 08 before hitting Melbourne and Brisbane in the following weeks.
And the singer is undoubtedly excited about starting the tour down under.
“As the place where we started so many years ago, we have always viewed Australia as our home so it is only fitting that we will be kicking off our Mythology tour there,” he said in a statement.
Tickets for all three dates are on sale on Friday October 05.
February 08 : Sydney (Entertainment Centre)
February 12 : Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena)
February 16 : Brisbane (Entertainment Centre)

has his spine healed all of a sudden??
It is rubbish to say he ‘d planned the tour with Robin already; everybody new Robin would not survive !
Maybe Barry tried to comfort his brother with promisses -which he could have done years before !- but from last summer on there’s been nothing to plan anymore for Robin.
This concerts will not cover what you missed, Barry.

And then ? How and where does the tour continue????
Does Europe also get a chance or shall we grieve for the rest of our days :-)
If they started their career in Astralia…it should continue in England – with a stopover in Germany.
Just dreaming..

Wonderful news! I am very happy for Barry and for Australians. Hello from Europe to everyone and apologies for my bad English – it is not my native language.
