So if it wasn’t exciting enough that British girl group Girls Aloud have tonight revealed the video for their brand new single ‘Something New’, they’ve also revealed something else new… a brand new best-of compilation celebrating their decade in the business, spookily entitled ‘Ten’.
The new release, due next month in the UK, will bring together the girls’ hits from throughout their career including their breakout hit ‘Sound Of The Underground’, the altogether brilliant ‘The Show’ and arguably the finest pop song from the past five years period ‘Call The Shots’.
But it’s also set to feature four brand new Girls Aloud songs including the lead single ‘Something New’ (see below) and ‘On The Metro’, ‘Beautiful ‘Cause You Love Me’ and ‘Every Now And Then’.
‘Ten’ will be released in standard and deluxe double disc editions, with fans being able to vote as to which songs should feature on the second disc of the deluxe version.
A very special deluxe boxset is also to be made available online.
‘Ten’ is released in the UK on Monday November 26.

Great news. The cover is awesome. Everything about this whole new Girl Aloud reunion is brillant. Can’t wait to hear those new songs. Didn’t think they would release 4.
I still think Tangled Up is their finest album. From Call The Shots to Close To Love, that album was gold.
Bring it on.
