It’s just over three weeks ’til R&B supergroup Boyz II Men hit our shores for their national tour.
Kicking off at Adelaide’s Thebarton Theatre on Friday November 16, the tour is then set to take in centres across the Australian East Coast, with the shows in Sydney, Melbourne and the Gold Coast now officially sold out.
Demand for tickets in Sydney, meanwhile, has been so great that organisers have added another date to the tour – at the State Theatre on Thursday November 29, tickets for which are on sale this Friday.
Boyz II Men enjoyed a string of chart successes in Australia at the height of their fame in the early ’90s. Most famous for their Aussie No.1 hits ‘End Of The Road’ and ‘I’ll Make Love To You’, they also teamed up with Mariah Carey for their famous duet ‘One Sweet Day’, which peaked at No.2 down under.
They achieved further top 20 success with singles ”In The Still Of The Nite’, ‘On Bended Knee’ and ‘4 Seasons Of Loneliness’ and were last on the charts in 2000 with their single ‘Pass You By’.
