As if this release isn’t going to be as camp as… well… Christmas!
Yes, Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta have confirmed they’re teaming up for the first time in 30 years to release a Christmas album called ‘This Christmas’.
The new album, to be released in early November, not only brings together some of your favourites from the festive season, but a selection of guest vocalists including Tony Bennett, Cliff Richard, Barbra Streisand, James Taylor and even Kenny G!
There’s ‘Silent Night’, ‘This Christmas’, ‘White Christmas’, ‘The Christmas Song’ and ‘I’ll Be Home For Christmas’… Yes, it’s super-festive.
The compilation also features an original song entitled ‘I Think You Might Like It’, which has been described as “the sequel to John and Olivia’s ‘Grease’ smash ‘You’re The One That I Want'”. It was penned by the writer of the original track John Farrar.
Proceeds from the sale of the CD will help raise funds for both John and Olivia’s charities.
“We all felt a wonderful, joyful energy while recording this album,” Olivia said in a statement. “We want to make a lot of people smile and happy. It’s a project that we’re hoping turns into a perennial, one that can continue to raise money for these causes year after year, a gift that keeps on giving.”
‘This Christmas’ will be released in Australia on Friday November 09.

Did they digitally remove John’s pinky finger from this photo? He always has it extended when he drinks from a tea cup!
