Given it was five years ago that US outfit Garbage last dropped a greatest hits package – in the form of ‘Absolute Garbage’ – the time’s pretty right for a repackaged best-of, entitled ‘The Absolute Collection’.
The new 20 track best of is due in early November and brings together a slew of hits from across the band’s 18 year existence including ARIA smashes ‘Stupid Girl’, ‘Cherry Lips (Go Baby Go)’, ‘Push It’ and ‘Breaking Up The Girl’, along with our personal favourites ‘Special’, ‘Queer’ and ‘Only Happy When It Rains’.
Though there’s nothing new on the disc (apart from the new cover art (pictured above), it brings together tracks from each of the band’s five albums, plus ‘Tell Me Where It Hurts’ from the previous best-of and ‘#1 Crush’, lifted from the soundtrack to ‘Romeo & Juliet’.
‘The Absolute Collection’ is due in-stores on Friday November 02.

They should add the singles from Not Your Kind Of People in there.
I think people should just buy the studio albums.
