EMI has revealed that they’ll be plunging into the new year with the release of a brand new soundtrack – to Judd Apatow’s new film, entitled ‘This Is 40’. The flick is the natural follow-on to predecessor ‘Knocked Up’ and sees both Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd reprise their roles as a husband and wife Debbie and Pete as they approach the magical big ‘4-0’ milestone. It’s due to hit cinemas on January 17.
Starring on the film’s accompanying soundtrack are the likes of Fiona Apple, Norah Jones, Paul Simon, Ryan Adams and Wilco. It’s been produced by Judd alongside Jonathan Karp.
It’s due to hit the stores on Friday January 11.
