They’ve been music store staples for a great number of years, always going head to head with editions covering all four main seasons. So the battle for Summer 2013 is again on in earnest between ‘So Fresh’ and ‘NOW’.
But whereas ‘So Fresh’ brings together a collection of recent hits and best of 2012 for its latest edition, the peeps behind ‘NOW’ have gone for the single disc hit-laden option. And we’ve got to say it’s certainly no bad thing whatsoever, especially if your penchant is for pop.
There’s latest hits from Robbie Williams, Cheryl, David Guetta, Havana Brown, Justin Bieber, Ricki-Lee, Lana Del Rey, Conor Maynard, Swedish House Mafia, Florence & The Machine and even Flume, whose self-titled debut album has spent most of the past week at No.1 on the iTunes album chart.
Full tracklist details are available after the jump, but you’ll find ‘NOW : The Hits Of Summer 2013’ in the shops and online from Friday December 07.

Hey Brad,
Highly unlikely. Universal is tied up with Sony for ‘So Fresh’. This compile, therefore, could very well be the last in the ‘NOW’ franchise (apart from a best-of, details of which we’ll publish on the site tomorrow).

If EMI is now owned by Universal, can they still collaborate with Warner?

Hey Anonymouses,
EMI Australia, which has produced ‘NOW’ along with Warner Music, is now owned by Universal Music. Hence the new owners are venturing into NOW territory with this release.
