One Direction has today announced that there are to be changes to their forthcoming touring schedule, with the original shows slated for Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne between September 11 and September 21 next year now moving to later in the Australian run.
According to this morning’s press release, the changes are due to a “scheduling conflict”.
The original Brisbane date on September 11 will now move to October 19, while the previously announced matinee performances in Sydney and Melbourne on September 15 and 21 respectively will now become evening performances later in the schedule.
Here are the changes;
September 11 Brisbane show moves to October 19
September 12 Brisbane show moves to October 20
September 14 Sydney show moves to October 26
September 15 Sydney matinee moves to October 23 evening
September 15 Sydney show moves to October 24
September 16 Sydney show moves to October 25
September 19 Melbourne show moves to October 17
September 20 Melbourne show moves to October 16
September 21 Melbourne matinee moves to October 28 evening
September 21 Melbourne show moves to October 29
All other dates remain unchanged and presumably affected customers will be contacted by the tour promoters.
As a result of the changes, however, two new dates have been added to the schedule – one each in Melbourne and Brisbane.
Beyond this, changes to the layout of the show have meant that organisers are now able to offer more seats to each show. These extra tickets, as well as tickets to the new Melbourne and Brisbane dates, are on sale this Thursday.

This was all over the news this morning, because the new dates now clash with the HSC exams in NSW and Victoria.
