It’s been rumoured for days, but tonight, latin superstar Ricky Martin has been confirmed as the fourth judge for the 2013 season of ‘The Voice’. The official announcement was made as part of tonight’s edition of ‘A Current Affair’.
He’ll join the existing panel of Seal, Joel Madden and Delta Goodrem as they again seek out Australia’s latest and greatest voice.
Ricki’s swivelling chair was left vacant by country star Keith Urban, who chose not to renew his contract for another year.
‘The Voice’ will return to our screens on the Nine Network in 2013.

To Anonymous #1. Have you not heard of Elton John, George Michael, Darren Hayes (who helped on the first Voice)or Anthony Callea?

So we have an Australian show with only one out the four judges being Australia. How is that right?
Ricky Martin is also not very current with his last presence in Australian charts in 2005.
