Not only have they now fully sold out their four Australian shows, but Swedish House Mafia now has something else to celebrate – and this time it’s chart related.
As of yesterday’s edition, their latest (and final) single ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ has notched up an altogether impressive 14 consecutive weeks atop the ARIA club chart.
They’ve broken a record that was previously held by Spiller, whose single with Sophie Ellis-Bextor ‘Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)’ bagged 13 weeks in the top spot back in the early part of the new millennium.
On the mainstream chart, meanwhile, ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ is back up to No.2 this week and has just been certified triple platinum for sales of more than 210,000 copies.
