Proving they’ve lost none of the support that’s seen them notch up multiple chart successes here in Australia, US outfit Counting Crows have sold out their first show in Sydney as part of their recently announced run of dates.
The tour, which kicks off in Brisbane on March 27, is the band’s first to Australia in nine years and will take in dates in all five major centres.
But it’s in Sydney where the demand seemingly lies, with the first show – at the city’s Opera House Concert Hall – selling out after going on sale this morning, prompting touring company Live Nation to announce a second show in the harbour city.
Tickets are on sale now.
