It’s only an hour since voting closed in this year’s Triple J Hottest 100 and it’s expected that 21 year old Sydney wunderkind producer Flume, whose debut self-titled album premiered at No.2 on the ARIA albums chart last year, will feature heavily in this year’s countdown.
Flume has experienced a brilliant run of success since the No.2 debut, including gold album sales within weeks of the album going on sale an a subsequent gold accreditation for the lead single ‘Holdin On’.
Now he’s revealed the video for his latest single ‘Left Alone’, which features the ever-soulful vocals of Mister Chef Faker.
Downbeat, lush and impressive, the clip features the two stars sitting back to back in a dimly lit studio as the camera slowly runs circles around them.
More sublime stuff. Let’s hope that commercial radio picks up the Flume baton in 2013 and runs with it.
