Aussie pop songstress Kate Alexa closed out 2012 by supporting none other than Jennifer Lopez on her first ever Australian tour. And it looks like she’s hoping to take that momentum into 2013, revealing the official video for her latest single ‘I Deny’ late on Friday night.
Essentially, it looks as though Kate’s trying to take us on a journey with her across the country during her J-Lo support, kicking things off with a party with her roadies, an early morning wake-up call, hotels, flights, make-up, backstage champagne, rehearsals, a preview of the setlist, some onstage love, post-show backstage shenanigans (and a guest appearance by a famous music mogul), back to the hotel and more champagne.

Kate Alexa had some really great songs for her H20 Tv show album. Her talent is great to sing alto, but, however, I never thought she would end up living THIS kind of lifestyle…. It really is diapponting. But stars change, they hear their good, and take pride in that. It can ruin lives. I completely agree….

I was at the Jlo concert in Brisbane and could not wait for her to get off stage, I’m sorry. She was not the same genre of Jlo’s music!!!!!!!

Compley agree with you. It has always frustrated me that she gets chance after chance, when next to no one cares. How her record company haven’t gone bankrupt because of her is beyond me.

@anonymous hey, live and let live! I don’t disagree with you but you shouldn’t let it get to you so much :)

I agree completely. She needs to stop trying to make it happen, it’s never going to happen!

Ugh.
It completely baffles me how Kate Alexa endures.
Manages to score a Top Ten single in 2006 when her single was reduced to 99c and before digital downloads were added to the chart.
First album charts for a week at #64 and still she gets a second shot.
If she wasn’t signed to her father’s label she would be dropped from the roster in an instant. Even if you made an argument for her ‘talent’ you cannot deny this fact when so many local pop acts have come and gone.
Records seconds album overseas with top producers, releases four singles with four video clips – not a single song charts.
Releases a second album that doesn’t even crack the iTunes 1000 upon the week of release (I checked at the time out of curiosity). Quite possibly sold about 150 copies. She must be haemorrhaging money for the record company.
Scores support gig to J.Lo as he father is the promoter.
Tweets incessantly about her glamorous life travelling the world (how she could possibly afford this on her own income is baffling).
Just because someone wants to be a pop star doesn’t mean they should.
Honestly not trying to sound mean, but ENOUGH. Her very presence on the scene makes me angry.
