British girl group The Saturdays are still on the hunt for their elusive first No.1 single. Since bursting onto the scene back in 2008 with the very pop ‘If This Is Love’, the five piece has achieved rather decent top ten success with all but two of their 13 singles, but none has afforded them that No.1 smash they no doubt covet.
No doubt they’ll be hoping to end the drought with their latest single ‘What About Us’, which premiered in the UK late on Friday to co-incide with the announcement of their new album ‘The Chase’.
Of course, at the same time as hitting No.1 in their homeland, the girls are also attempting to crack the lucrative US market, so it’s off to the suburbs of Los Angeles they go to film the official video.
So with the UK and US now covered with regards The Saturdays releases, we’ve got just one question to ask of Universal Music here in Australia… Erm… What about us??
