They were last in action on our singles chart nine years ago with their single ‘Accidentally In Love’ and had previous success with debut single ‘Mr Jones’ and their cover of Joni Mitchell’s ‘Big Yellow Taxi’ with Vanessa Carlton.
But with their subsequent album ‘Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings’ hitting the top 30 in 2008, it seems there’s still quite a bit of love down under for US outfit Counting Crows.
So it stands to reason that the band, along with touring company Live Nation, has today announced their first Australian tour in nine years.
They’ll play in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide during their visit in late March/early April, with tickets for all dates on general sale on Monday January 21.
March 27 : Brisbane (QPAC Concert Hall)
March 30 : Melbourne (Hamer Hall)
April 03 : Perth (Concert Hall)
April 06 : Adelaide (Her Majesty’s Theatre)
April 09 : Sydney (Opera House Concert Hall)
