Canadian songstress Carly Rae Jepsen smashed global playlists and charts last year with her earworm ‘Call Me Maybe’.
It was arguably the biggest track of 2012 here in Australia, notching up an impressive eight times platinum (560,000 copies) and sold more than ten million copies globally.
Though ‘This Kiss’ couldn’t replicate the success, Carly did hit the big time again via her appearance on the Owl City single ‘Good Time’, itself a top five hit here.
Now it’s onto something new, with Universal Music yesterday servicing the singer’s new tune ‘Tonight I’m Getting Over You’.
A fresh, uptempo pop ditty that’s bound to be saturating radio airwaves soon, the official video (below) premiered on Saturday morning Australian time.
