It’s staggering to learn that legendary US rock outfit Aerosmith haven’t visited our shores in almost two and a half decades, but Andrew McManus has announced this morning that they’re hell-bent on changing all that when the band arrives in Australia in April for shows across the East Coast.
Armed with their catalogue of hits including ‘Walk This Way’, ‘Janie’s Got A Gun’, ‘Livin’ On The Edge’ and the global smash ‘I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing’, Aerosmith will play three shows only – one each in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Joining the band on support duties on all dates are The Dead Daisies (featuring Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens), while Wolfmother, Grinspoon and Spiderbait (among others) will hit the stage in Sydney to celebrate the band’s return to Australia.
Tickets for all shows are on sale from Monday March 04.
April 28 : Sydney (ANZ Stadium)
May 01 : Brisbane (Entertainment Centre)
May 04 : Melbourne (Rod Laver Arena)
