Craig David’s tour of the east coast of Australia, due to take place next week, seems to have been cancelled, with the star’s manager Colin Lester confirming via Twitter that they’ve “been let down by the tour organiser in NYC”.
In a series of tweets, he said that he and Craig are “angry and devastated” and that “we will re-schedule when this mess is tidied up”.
Craig himself was earlier a little confused as to the situation, “Found out I’m not coming 2 Australia? Still trying 2 find out why? Being told promoter gone AWOL! So sorry 2 my fans. Stay tuned 4 more info,” and later, “Right now I’m totally confused & I promise I will get 2 the bottom of this. But right now it looks like the promoter has let us all down!!”
Craig’s management is advising all patrons to seek refunds from the point of sale.
Craig had been slated to touch down on the Gold Coast next Wednesday for the first of three shows on the east coast.

Ticketek is still selling tickets for the Gold Coast show, so they obviously haven’t been told that the tour has been cancelled….!
