We love ourselves a good Ministry Of Sound compilation – and we love it even more when it concentrates on one of our favourite eras in dance music… the ’90s.
Yes, there were plenty of kick-ass dancefloor favourites during the decade, most of which came through in the first few years. And somehow, as if by magic, Ministry seems to have been reading our little pop-leaning minds, cobbling together a three disc, 60 track masterpiece that opens with Corona’s inimitable ‘The Rhythm Of The Night’ and Haddaway’s ‘What Is Love’ before moving through other faves from the likes of Sash!, Mousse T vs Hot ‘N’ Juicy, Strike, Ce Ce Peniston, D:Ream, Grace, Livin’ Joy, Madison Avenue, The Original, Vengaboys, 2 Unlimited, Felix, The Shamen, Chicane, Black Box, Deee-Lite, Rozalla, Technotronic, Crystal Waters, Olive…. Pardon while we go and have a nice lie down.
