According to the peeps at Amazon, the new New Kids On The Block album ’10’ is so named because it’s the band’s tenth studio album. After ‘New Kids On The Block’, ‘Hangin’ Tough’, ‘Merry, Merry Christmas’, ‘Step By Step’, ‘Face The Music’ and ‘The Block’, however, we can only presume they’ve lost the ability to count somewhere along the line.
Anyway, anyway, anyway… That’s all splitting hairs, because New Kids On The Block are back with brand new material, putting the days of the extra ‘SB’ on the end of the ‘NKOTB’ to rest.
Lead single from the new collection is ‘Remix (I Like The)’, the video for which premiered late last week.
Gotta hand it to the lads… it must’ve been extremely difficult to choose which direction to head stylistically with their new music, but ‘Remix (I Like The)’ is infectious, feel-good, soul-filled pop – and they’ve upped the infectious nature by telling the tale of a shy young woman who’s getting nowhere with the men who decides that she really needs to mix things up a little and start having a little fun. Which she does in spades.
The New Kids are back on the block. No word yet on a local release.

It’s extremely catchy and watching the video with the song really helps like it.
I think it’s a great 1st single. Their never gonna sound like 1989 again but it is 2013. This is pretty good.
