US soul superstar John Legend is back with a brand new single – and a forthcoming studio album.
The singer, who broke through via his 2005 single ‘Ordinary People’ has so far released four studio albums, the latest of which was with The Roots (‘Wake Up!’) back in 2010. But now there’s a new long player on the horizon.
Set to drop at the end of June, it’s called ‘Love In The Future’.
“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed making this album with a team of incredibly gifted producers and co-writers,” John said in a statement. “Every day we went to the studio with the goal to create something beautiful, to make the best album of my career. After all the writing and arranging and re-mixing and editing, it’s finally time for the world to hear it.”
The lead single from the album is the slow burning, soulful ‘Who Do We Think We Are’ featuring Rick Ross, which hit digital retail yesterday (cover art pictured).
‘Love In The Future’ will hit retail in Australia on Friday June 28.
