Their debut album ‘Black Sun’ now at retail and on the back of a hugely successful trip to the US (including a performance on the high profile Jimmy Kimmel Show), Ballarat-based outfit Gold Fields has announced a national tour.
The tour kicks off over in the west on June 21 at the Metropolis in Fremantle before heading in an easterly direction, visiting all the major centres including the Gold Coast and their hometown, before it all wraps up in Hobart on Saturday July 20.
Naturally, the chaps are champing at the bit to get the show on the road.
“We’ve been waiting so long to get back and play shows at home again. It feels like ages! We’ve spent months honing our live set and touring overseas, and the thought of doing our album tour at home is what’s kept us going. These shows will be the biggest Gold Fields gigs we’ve done and now that the record is out, we can’t wait to bring it to life in the venues and cities we love in Australia.”
Tickets for all shows are on sale from 9am this Thursday.
