Up and coming New Zealand boyband Titanium, who recently hit the charts here in Australia with their cover version of Jason Mraz’ ‘I Won’t Give Up’, have been named as the replacement for Aussie boys What About Tonight on the forthcoming national Teen Rush tour.
Due to support Adelaide boys At Sunset on the upcoming live dates, What About Tonight has today issued a statement saying, “We regretfully announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, we will now not be able to participate in the April Teen Rush Tour across Australia. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. A full refund for anyone who purchased tickets expecting to see us will be available from the same point of purchase that the original transaction took place.”
Titanium has stepped up to the plate to replace What About Tonight, with band member Andrew saying, “We can’t wait to be a part of this tour. It is such a great opportunity and we love being in Australia. The fans over there are the best!”
The Teen Rush tour kicks off in Melbourne early next month, before taking in dates in Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney.
