Dido’s latest album ‘Girl Who Got Away’ may not have set the charts on fire (much like its predecessor ‘Safe Trip Home’), but there’s still plenty to like about the British songstress’ return to her more electronic side on the LP.
‘End Of Night’ is one of the more uptempo numbers on the album, with subtle electro vibes burbling away stylishly beneath Dido’s trademark dusky tones.
Accompanying the track is the recently released video (below), which features the singer surrounded by a collection of chalked-up and/or painted contemporary dancers. Simple, yet elegant.
Though ‘End Of Night’ is probably not “now” enough to get her across the airwaves of commercial radio, it’s hands down our favourite Dido single since 2004’s ‘Sand In My Shoes’.
