It’s already one of Australia’s favourite music festivals, but in its fifth year, Stereosonic has suffered quite the growth spurt, announcing that it’ll return later this year as a massive two day event in each city.
Promoter Richie McNeill explained the reason for the change in a press release this morning.
“We wanted to reward our patrons for their support, feedback and loyalty,” he said. “What better way to do this than expand our festival and cement Stereosonic, and Australia as a leader in dance music. We are pushing the envelope. Stereosonic fans will experience the greatest EDM lineup Australia has ever seen.”
This year’s events kick off with a huge weekend for both Sydney and Perth on November 30 and December 01 before settling the following weekend with a trio of double dates in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.
The line-up is due to be announced on Thursday July 04, with tickets on sale from Thursday August 01.
