With the live finals now airing on the Nine Network each week, tracks from contestants on ‘The Voice’ are once again starting to dominate the local iTunes chart. A quarter of the iTunes top 100 songs currently belong to ‘The Voice’ performers.
Harrison Craig’s version of ‘Can’t Help Falling In Love’ was the second track from the show to hit the No.1 spot on iTunes this season, since falling back to No.2 as we publish. He’s also in action at No.47 with ‘You Raise Me Up’, No.66 with ‘Home’ and No.93 with ‘Broken Vow’.
Former Ten Tenor Luke Kennedy’s version of John Farnham’s ‘Please Don’t Ask Me’ is also faring well, currently at No.3. He’s also placed at No.25 with ‘Time To Say Goodbye’, No.51 with ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ and No.83 with ‘Un Giorno Per Noi’.
Celia Pavey also finds herself inside the top ten with her version of ‘Jolene’, with Kiyomi Vella and Ms Murphy also inside the top 20.
Jackie Sannia’s highest entry is No.23 (‘Skyscraper’), followed by Mitchell Anderson (‘Dear Prudence’ at No.32), Jac Stone (‘Uninvited’ at No.33), Michael Stangel (‘Four Walls’ at No.36) and Michael Paynter (‘Locked Out Of Heaven’ at No.38).
Simon Meli’s ‘Sympathy For The Devil’ is just outside the top 40 at No.42, followed further down the list by entries for Steve Clisby, Alex Gibson, Danny Ross, Caterina Torres and Tim Morrison.
‘The Voice’ live finals continue next Monday night on the Nine Network.
