US singer songwriter Neko Case was last on our shores back in early 2010 for a series of live shows in support of her Grammy nominated album ‘Middle Cyclone’. More than four years on from its release, she’s back again with a brand new album called ‘The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You’. Succinct then.
Preceded by lead single ‘Man’, available now, the new album brings together a collection of 12 new tunes. Of the new record, Case states, “My brain wilderness is more dense and dangerous than I thought. It was an embarrassing and hilarious march, but I now feel like a more streamlined being. It’s a good feeling. Four years of my life took ten years hostage, then gave me back twelve.”
‘The Worse Things Get, The Harder I Fight, The Harder I Fight, The More I Love You’ will be released in Australia via Warner Music on Friday September 06.
