It’s a case of two in a row for Team Seal, after his young steed Harrison Craig took out the 2013 edition of ‘The Voice’ earlier this evening.
The raging favourite throughout the competition, Harrison beat out Team Ricky’s Luke Kennedy to claim the top prize, with Team Delta’s Celia Pavey finishing in third and Team Joel’s Danny Ross coming in fourth position.
Universal Music subsequently released and serviced Harrison’s winner’s single entitled ‘Unconditional’. In the hours after his performance on the show, the track has bulleted into the top ten on iTunes, currently held off the top spot by his previous two tracks from the show (‘Unchained Melody’ and ‘More Than A Dream’), new singles for both Delta Goodrem and Ricky Martin and other chart favourites from Robin Thicke, Passenger and Bastille.
‘Unconditional’ is lifted from Harrison’s debut album, also called ‘More Than A Dream’, which will be released physically and digitally next week.
It’ll feature studio versions of Harrison’s performances from the show, along with songs that have inspired him through his life journey.
‘More Than A Dream’ will hit retail on Tuesday June 25.
