We owe expat Aussie songstress Mel Jade a bit of an apology for not featuring her on the site before now. Not that she needs much assistance, given she’s already garnered around 65,000 fans on Facebook and a fair whack on Twitter. But we hope she’ll forgive us as we alert you to the fact that her most exciting project yet will see the light of day in around eight weeks time.
‘Alive’ is Mel’s debut album you see, it’s being released 100% independently and she’s ever so excited to be seeing her baby set free.
Though the LP draws on a selection of musical genres, at its heart it’s very pop and there are plenty of highlights including our pick ‘Trash And Treasure’ and previous single ‘We Could Make A Movie’, the video clip for which has received over a million views (below).
