It was hinted at when EMI serviced the band’s new single ‘Laura Palmer’ to local media over the weekend and we even begged the question “Could they be jetting to our shores for live shows shortly after their Japan dates in mid-August?”, but it’s been officially confirmed; Frontier Touring will indeed bring British outfit Bastille to our shores in mid-August for two live dates.
The band, whose single ‘Pompeii’ has hit platinum status here in Australia after occupying the top five in recent weeks, will play dates in both Sydney and Melbourne and treat live audiences to tracks from their breakout LP ‘Bad Blood’.
They’ll be supported by Sydney outfit Tigertown, who are currently in the midst of their own national headline tour.
Pre-sale kicks off on Tuesday at 2pm AEST, before general public tickets hit the sales desk at 9am on Thursday June 27.
