One of Australia’s most recognised performers will release a new album next month.
The career of Diesel (real name Mark Lizotte) has spanned more than a quarter of a century and in that time, he’s sold more than 850,000 albums across the globe, from his days as Johnny Diesel and the Injectors back in the late 1980s through his time as Diesel in the ’90s, to Mark Lizotte in the late ’90s and noughties…
Now back to Diesel again, he’s announced the forthcoming release of his latest project ‘Let It Fly’ (cover art pictured above), a new 12 track album that his label Liberation Music describes as Diesel “at his timeless best”.
The new release comes five years since his last collection of original tunes and we’re told the LP will see the performer getting back to what he does best – “writing singing and performing his own songs in his own unique and celebrated way”.
‘Let It Fly’ will drop at retail nationally on Friday August 09.
