If we’ve learnt anything about TV talent competitions across the years, it’s that it’s not always the winners of the competition who go on to carve out a successful career.
So with the backing of ‘X Factor’ god Simon Cowell and his mighty Syco brand right behind them, the third place getters in last year’s US edition of ‘The X Factor’, girl group Fifth Harmony, have every chance of succeeding in the fickle world of pop.
The girls have this week released their debut single ‘Miss Movin’ On’ over in the US and though it’s still a fair way from the top ten on iTunes there, it’s certainly doing the rounds in the upper reaches of the top 100.
The track’s all about leaving a relationship behind – and where better to do that in the clip than with your favourite bunch of gal pals at a funfair where there are fluffy toys to be won, ferris wheels to ride, colour, movement and much fun to be had.
Perfectly packaged for their audience, Fifth Harmony’s debut single is also available here in Australia.
