Tomorrow promises to be a big day for ‘The Voice’ starlet Celia Pavey, with not only her new single being released to both media and retail, but her hometown of Forbes paying tribute to her with a civil reception.
Though Celia grew up in the New South Wales country centre, she recently relocated to Sydney in order to follow her dreams of a music career. But the Major of Forbes, Ron Penny, is still incredibly proud to call her one of his locals.
“Celia is a remarkable talent and we are very proud of her achievements,” he said in a statement. “We are delighted to host a Civic Reception and even more so that the community have the opportunity to hear her perform a few songs.”
Celia will take to the stage in Victoria Park from 1:30pm tomorrow to perform tracks from her upcoming debut album ‘This Music’ (pictured) and council will host a free sausage sizzle in her honour.
Celia’s single ‘Believe Me’, written by British songstress Ellie Goulding, will be released digitally tomorrow.
