Frontier Touring Company has announced today that the forthcoming Australian tour by US outfit Thirty Seconds To Mars has been postponed to early next year.
The band, whose latest album ‘Love Lust Faith + Dreams’ hit retail back in May, were due to arrive in Australia early next month for shows in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. But due to a medical condition, the tour has been rescheduled to early 2014.
In a statement released to the media today, the band said, “It is with a heavy heart and deep regret that we must reschedule the four shows in Australia. A member of the band will be undergoing a medical procedure and the time will be used to address this. Please know we are absolutely devastated and hope for your understanding and patience. Our sincerest and deepest apologies. We are rescheduling for March 2014 as these are the earliest the dates are available. Thank you for your faith, for your support, and for standing by us no matter what. We ask you please respect our privacy through challenging times like these.”
All tickets for the August dates will be valid for the new dates in March. And the only change to the schedule is a move of the band’s Brisbane show from the Entertainment Centre to the Riverstage.
